Huge congratulations to Evan for winning the People’s Choice Award at the DFCRC 3 Minute Thesis Competition 2025.

We are delighted to announce that Dr. Thirasara Ariyarathna, Dr. Erik Buchholz, and Dr. Yuvin Perera have successfully completed their doctoral studies and officially graduated from UNSW! 🎓

Their dedication, research contributions, and hard work throughout their PhD journeys have been truly exemplary. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours and look forward to seeing their continued impact in the field.

We are welcoming Gayathri Harshila to our group. She is a research practicum student from the University of Moratuwa in Sri Lanka and will be with us until the end of May 2026 working with Salil and Rahat on our GuardianAgent project.

Congratulations to Mohammad Majid on the submission of his thesis and for starting a postdoc role at UTS this week. All the best for the examination and the new role.

Congratulations to Majid on the acceptance of the following paper at NDSS 2026. The acceptance rate for the current round is not known as some papers are undergoing revisions. Majid’s paper was accepted without revisions.
